The NFL Season is finally here! After what seems like an eternity, we were able to watch 4 quarters of real NFL Football last Night. The defending Superbowl Champions New Orleans Saints started this season on a good note by defeating the ageless Brett Favre and the Minnesota Vikings 14-9 in front of the WHO DAT! nation in the Louisiana Superdome. Both teams were far from perfect but Drew Brees continued his habit of spreading the ball to everyone hitting 12 different receivers throughout the game. Favre looked like he could have used a couple more days with his receiving corps, continuously miscommunicatiing with Bernard Berrian and Greg Camarillo on his way to throwing 2 ints and more importantly only engineering 1 TD drive against a less than stellar Saints Defense with no Darren Sharper. We will cover all of Sundays action on the Hump Day Huddle this Wednesday from 7pm-9pm on sportstownchicago.com!
