Dang NFL, You Scary!

Hey everyone, I am here tonight to make an announcement. And before you all get carried away, I'm NOT taking my talents to South Beach! I'm announcing that at week 10 in the NFL season, this league has outsmarted me. I'm tired of making picks in my football pool that on any other year on the same circumstances, are a lock but are wrong this season. Lets look at this

Exhibit A- The Dallas Cowboys

Ok, so you are telling me that a 1-7 football team with a newly made Interim Head Coach is playing what many consider the beast team in the NFC. 99 out of 99 times you would take the Giants in this game right? WRONG! Cowboys win 33-20

Exhibit B- The Cleveland Browns

Try this one, a perennial bottom dweller with as much fluidity at their QB position as a glass of water goes on a mid season trip against the defending Superbowl champs, one of the greatest defenses in the league, and Tom freaking Brady, whats their record coming out. My guess was, as I'm sure many if yours was 0-3. Well Guess what everone? WRONG! Browns go 2-1 with two blowouts and an overtime loss to the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!

Exhibit C- THE REST OF THE FREAKING NFL!!!!

19 Teams are .500 or better (Thanks to my stats guy Zach for that!)

There are only at most 4 teams out of playoff contention (Sorry Dallas you are one of those teams)

And my most compelling argument so far, the St. Louis Rams, despite being win less on the road this season, is 3 games out of the #1 seed in the NFL
